1. Mindfulness Meditation

The focus is on observing thoughts, emotions, and sensations as they arise and letting them pass by without getting caught up in them. This technique is often practiced by focusing on the breath or on physical sensations in the body.

2. Transcendental Meditation


Transcendental meditation is a technique that involves repeating a mantra, which is a word or sound that is believed to have a calming effect on the mind. This practice is designed to bring the mind to a state of deep relaxation and inner peace.

3. Zen Meditation

Zen meditation is a technique that involves focusing on the breath and clearing the mind of distractions. This practice is designed to help cultivate inner peace, mindfulness, and self-awareness.

4. Yoga Meditation


Yoga meditation combines physical postures (asanas) with deep breathing and meditation. This practice is designed to help calm the mind, reduce stress, and promote relaxation.

5. Chakra Meditation


Chakra meditation involves focusing on the seven energy centers (chakras) of the body. The practice is designed to bring balance to the chakras and promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

6. Vipassana Meditation


Vipassana meditation is a technique that involves observing the mind and body without judgment. This technique is often practiced by focusing on physical sensations in the body and observing the thoughts and emotions that arise.

7. Loving-Kindness Meditation

Loving-kindness meditation involves cultivating feelings of love, kindness, and compassion towards oneself and others. This technique often involves repeating phrases such as "May I be happy, may I be healthy, may I be at peace," while imagining oneself and others surrounded by feelings of warmth and love.


Each of these meditation techniques has its unique benefits, and it's up to you to find the one that works best for you. My personal favorite is the Zen Meditation and I like use box breathing to get into it.

Remember that meditation is a personal practice, and it's essential to approach it with an open mind and a willingness to explore different techniques. With regular practice, meditation can help you cultivate inner peace, reduce stress, and improve your overall well-being.
